Size guides
Room to grow, without the guesswork.
Changing robes come in Toddler (2–3 years), Kinder (4–5 years), Junior (6–8 years) and Youth (9–12 years).
Changing robes are designed with a relaxed, generous fit so they pull on easily over wet swimmers. If your child is between sizes, we recommend sizing up for longer wear.
Measure height without shoes and use age as a guide only. Our full size guide has the complete size and age chart for changing robes.
Care Instructions
Simple habits that keep everything performing for years.
Machine wash cold on a gentle cycle with a mild detergent. Skip fabric softener and bleach, as they coat the fabric and reduce water repellency. Hang to dry away from direct heat.
Make sure pieces are completely dry before folding them away. Store loosely in a cool, dry place rather than sealed in a wet bag, which causes odour and mildew.
Over time the water-repellent finish may reduce with washing and wear. This is normal. A suitable DWR reproofing spray can be applied after washing to help restore performance.
General
A little more about who we are and how we make things.
We design for the in-between moments — the walk back to the car, the shiver after a swimming lesson, the sandy drive home. Every piece is made to be warm, easy to pull on over wet swimmers and calm enough to live with for years, not seasons.
Yes. Everything is designed around small bodies and real family use: generous hoods, easy zips, soft linings against bare skin and no fussy details that make getting changed harder than it needs to be.
A waterproof, windproof outer with a soft, quiet hand feel, lined with brushed microfleece that draws water off wet swimmers and dries quickly. See the Materials & Features section for the full detail.
Field & Tide is designed in Australia, and made with trusted manufacturing partners overseas.

Materials & Features
Exactly what you are getting, from the outer fabric to the zips.
Yes. The outer fabric carries a 10,000mm waterproof rating with a durable water-repellent finish, so rain and spray bead off rather than soaking in.
Yes. The outer is windproof, which is what makes the difference on an exposed beach or a car park in winter.
A brushed microfleece lining. It is soft against bare skin, absorbs water straight off wet swimmers and holds warmth without feeling heavy.
Yes. A YKK two-way zip, with bar-tacked stress points at the areas that take the most wear.
The hood is deep and generous, designed to fit over wet hair and keep wind and rain off the face and neck.
That is exactly what it is built for. The fleece lining pulls water off the skin and traps warmth quickly, so the shiver after a swim settles fast.
Yes. The relaxed cut and two-way zip give enough room to change underneath in private, without the towel-and-tug routine.
Yes. It pulls on straight over wet swimmers, so it works for weekly lessons, squad mornings and beach days alike.
Yes. The fit is deliberately roomy, so it layers comfortably over jumpers and winter clothes as well as swimmers.
The outer sheds water and the fleece lining dries fast when hung in a well-ventilated spot away from direct heat.
